Not sure if this is the right forum, but I've been trying for hours to get the original diablo 1 to work over a network to no avail. The game uses the ipx protocol which vista apparently does not work with and especially vista 64 bit. I tried using kali to set up a "network" game and couldnt even get that to work, and battle.net doesnt seem to work at all for diablo 1 anymore.
Has anyone found a workaround? perhaps a patch for diablo to make it use tcp/ip or a way to use ipx on 64 bit vista?
