Hi,
I am thinking of building my own gaming PC, under $200.

Can you suggest some nice Processors, Graphic cards and their compatible Motherboard for gaming.

So, i have a budget of $170 and i want a Processor, Graphic card and a motherboard and for gaming. I am not a hardcore gamer so even if the game will run on low or medium settings, it will work

**Important - i have rest of the things - case/operating system/ram/hdd and more, " i just need a processor a GPU and a Motherboard

p.s i live in India so i think finding a decent Processor, GPU and a Motherboard for $170 should be easy

I had selected some but i wasn't sure about them, you can have a look

Processor - http://www.flipkart.com/amd-athlon-ii-x2-270-processor/...

Motherboard - http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga-78lmt-s2pt-motherbo...

GPU - http://www.flipkart.com/galaxy-nvidia-geforce-gt-610-2-...

OR
http://www.flipkart.com/gainward-nvidia-2gb-ddr3-gt610-...

Feel free to look at that site and suggest me something from any of the three

Thanks

You need to look at some used equipment on your budget. A phenom II x4 955/965 on an AM3 board with a gtx 570 or a 5870 will game WAY better than anything you have listed.

So, you have a budget of about Rs. 10k? That's going to be a really tight budget to fit CPU, mobo, and GPU, for gaming.

First, what kind of RAM do you have and how much? DDR2 won't be very useful; nor will only 2GB. Oh, and what's your PSU?

An AMD APU would seem to be a good idea here, but FM2+ parts are over Rs. 10K, FM1 parts are out-of-stock, and socket AM1 doesn't seem to have arrived there yet.

Picking the cheapest decent Intel CPU and mobo apparently leaves only enough money for a GT 630. Better than a GT 610, but still not a real gaming card.

As others mentioned while I wrote this up, your links don't work, so I can't see prices for what you picked.

2) http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga...oard&ref=f21b1d77-576e-4e1d-b32e-ae31847f1f20

Now Processor, Guys very less processors are available in India( i couldn't find a Athlon X4 740K) Please have a look here -

Ah, I see, they didn't group FM2 with FM1 and FM2+. But at that price there are only a couple of dual core, single-module processors. They aren't worth spending your money on.

But now we have a budget of ~Rs. 7300 for CPU and mobo. So how about Intel, with a slightly better mobo and a slightly better CPU? This is a dual-core, dual-module processor.

Trying to guess about the prices of the components you're talking about, I get the CPU at Rs. 6.5k, motherboard at Rs. 3.8K, and GPU at Rs. 5k. That's about Rs. 15k, which is $250. $250 is not "under $200", so I'm left wondering what your true budget is.

So, what is your budget in INR?

Nope the processor is for 3.4k inr, 3.8k for motherboard and for the GPU i am not sure as all the good GPUs are for at least 5-6k

So can you link to the parts? I don't see any Core i3 processors for that price, not to mention that the only 2.9 GHz i3 parts are T-series (low TDP), which you don't need for a standard desktop.

Also, what is your budget in INR?

I say it's good for a low end PC, hardware has become less expensive these days and you can roll out some older games with that system. Go for it :)
