I have an old Toshiba laptop that I'd like to upgrade to windows 95. Here is the problem though....I have windows 95 on CD but it does not have a CD drive. Anyone know how I could put win95 on floppy so I can install it on this POS laptop? Or a cheap way to load this on to the puny (200MB) harddrive?

Thnx

Do a network install: run some type of cable (e.g. ethernet) from your desktop to the Toshiba. Once you get the two comps seeing each other, just install from the desktop CD onto the laptop.

If you can get DOS running on the laptop, you can run a null modem cable between the comps' parallel ports or something. ...just got to get them networked one way or another.

That...or borrow an external drive from someone. Or ask around for someone who has like all 30 1.44mb Windows 95 disks. That was a cool laptop in it's day. I had one. Just sold it for $125.
