Trying to load Partition Magic 7.0 causes WinXP to hard freeze each and every time...help?

The title pretty much says it all...and what's even more frustrating, no other app has made XP hard freeze...so I'm at a loss. IN the meantime, I have to use PM 7 in DOS to make it work

I have no answer for you, but Partitionmagic has been buggy for me for the last several versions, I gave up on it and use Partition Commander.

ahh...wasn't aware there were other options. Regardless, I prolly don't even need it anymore...I just needed to create a NTFS partition to get around the 4GB file limit of Fat32.

Why not just use "disk management" located under administration tools\computer management in the control panel?
