Trying to install Win7, but can't boot from CD..

Wtf, I put the CD in and restart, then get the usual "any key to boot from CD..." prompt, but nothing happens when I hit keyboard / mouse keys and it just times out and boots XP. Tried a different keyboard / mouse combo too. It worked fine on my home PC, but I keep getting this bs error at work and I wanna install it and GTFO outa here. Pls help! How do I get the damn keyboard / mouse to work during boot?

*But it sounds like you have a bad keyboard if it's not responding. Are you sure it's DEL to get into BIOS and not F10/F11, etc.?
 
Well you can't even post in the right forum, so I imagine there is little hope you will be able to install a beta OS.

but seriously, you need to enable USB keyboard support in BIOS.

I can't get into BIOS because when I click DEL during booting, nothing happens.

Let me see. If you're keyboard doesn't work to get you into the bios, and you need your keyboard to boot the cd......
Yep. I'm guessing your usb keyboard is the problem.
but that's just me.
