Trying to install Win2k, Win NT, Win98, Win 95, Win Mil & Linux on 1 computer

Any tips and hints will be appreciated. I planning to use boot magic. I do have two hard drives on here if that's any help.

Your biggest problem would be getting all the Win 9x working as they have this little tendency by overwriting each other. I would suggest having a win9x OS on each HD and after that install the NT OS's. Linux is very flexible and will give you no problems if you know what you are doing. Using PQMagic it might be possible to hide the 1st Win9x while installing the second and in that way avoid overwriting the 1st one.

Bootmagic is an excellent choice I think....do the 9x/me's first, then nt's, then linux I think.....

Got'em all (except Linux, no Radeon driver!) using System Commander.

Linux has Radeon drivers (so long as you have Xfree86 4.0.2 or higher, which higher right now would mean CVS 🙂). I'm typing in Linux using my Radeon card right now.

I doubt you'll have to install 95/ME if you've 98 installed. Same goes for 2k and NT. Go with 2k 😉 Just too much duplication. If you still want to do that, TheVrolok's right. Have fun installing the Win9x variants though 😉

If you snoop around www.pcformat.co.uk, downloads, you should find a freeware product called SystemCommander Lite. It will allow 4 different system, which I know wasn't your plan, but it is free and it works good.

it's for work, we have some proprietary software i need to validate for each os. we need them to keep em around in case other problems arise and we need to reproduce problems that customers are having.

so far i have 98, 2k, nt, linux, an d 95 install. anytime i try to get me going it overights the boot info in of 95 or 98 depending on which hard drive.
