First I cant seem to get 2k OR xp on this machine.I tried many time to install w2k or xp on this system,After I tried it so many times in that computer I thought mabey it was the computer
first I took the harddrive out of their comtuter and stuck it in my good comuter .I then disabled the other drives in the system and tried to install win2000 on that dirve and it worked.I figured I would swap the drive after the first time windows tells me it's going to reboot. So I did.And it doesnt work in the old computer, and my good rig wont even POST now and has video artifacts all over even with that HD removed and it with it's original HD

Wow!!! Windows 3000 eh? How you get hold of that pre-alpha??? Is it supporting 512bit 8terrahertz processors? 😀

What actually did you do to diable your hard drive? How are you trying to enabling it again? You said the computer doesn't even post but you also said it has video artifacts? Can it post or what? Provide more detailed information about what you did so far and the current condition then we may be able to help you. Good luck.

I disabled the drives in the bios
I got my good computer running now but I think the video card is gone,am using a spare
now just need to get the in laws' computer to work,I've even tried win xp pro(which I BOUGHT!)and it won't install either it does the same thing as w2000
