i booted up with the net.i bootdisk, then popped in the color.gz rootdisk when it asked
when i type ifconfig, it lists my network card, and i can ping the computer running the ftp with the slackware cd.
anyways, i type setup, and select the source for the installation files. i choose NFS, i enter my ip (10.0.0.3) , my subnet (255.255.255.0), the ip of the computer running the ftp (10.0.0.2), and the folder with the files (/slakware)
anyways, i keep getting the error
mount: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused
what am i doing wrong? thx in advance
btw, i don't want to take out my cdrom and put it in the linux box
