Trying to install 6800gt, PCIx0? this is agp

It says Pcix0 in ndvidia display, shouldnt it read 8x agp?

With my 6800oc i previosuly owned I scored 9400 3dmark with this 6800gt Im scoring under 8900, and I got the aperture ion bios set to 256.

Is there something Im missing or do I have some hardware issues?

install your mobo drivers.

I just instaled the 4 n 1 drivers had pci bus driver and agp port driver.

Also in nvidia display console it says PCIx0 not 8x AGP??

I think that might be normal. The AGP and PCI0 slot are probably sharing resources.

What does DXDIAG say regarding your display and agp acceleration?

It looks like the common solution around the net is to get new drivers for the mobo.

dxdiag just lists the card doesnt show any agpx speed info, says VDD n/a.

Are you sure you have all the latest drivers?

I installed nforce drivers and nvidia 66.93.

Just scored 8392 3dmark 03

I scored alot higher with 6800oc with same pc, specs as listed

barton 2500 @ 2.2
523 mb dual chn ocz DDR400
431 enermax psu
abit NF7-s mobo

Sounds like driver cleaner is in order. Do a google search for driver cleaner and give it a go.
