I have a 650 Duron, running at 800 right now on an MSI Pro 2. I am using PNY PC100 (64 Mg)/an FOP 32 / standard grease.
My problem is that I boosted the voltage up to 1.70, and set it for 8.5x100, and it will start out fine ...temps are 35C/CPU with no load to speak of (case is lower than that)and all seems well.
When I try to re-boot ...it will lock down, can't get back into the bios ..blank screen. At one time it just shut itself down after setting there with the screen saver on.
My caution is not going too high on the voltage. Am I being too cautious?
How high should I let my temp get?

Just raise your voltage. Don't be too worried about the heat issue, running 800 at 1.700 voltage at 35*C is just fine.

I'm running Duron 800@1007 at 40*C. Thats with Alpha PAL6035 and arctic silver.

Edit: Few more comments, i am running on the MSi K7T Pro2-A, using PNY PC100 SDRAM. 128mb of PNY, 32mb of generic. Both Cas3.
