Trying to get file lists DC++, but keep getting an error

Yes I am a noob, but whenever I try to get someones file list it gives me this error

Your direct connect client has supplied an invalid IP address in a connection request

And it says my client sent one number while my actual ip address is a different number than what my client sent. How do I fix this ?
