Trying to fix file association problem

I'm trying to open a file called "manual.pdf" The problem is this: When I tried to open the file the first time, I selected Wordpad to open it with by mistake. Now whenever I try and open it, it automatically loads in Wordpad and a bunch of gibberish shows up. Is there to fix this? Thanks

hold down shift when you right click the file to open it...this will bring up a menu called "open with..." and you may then choose acrobat reader (or whatever you want to always open it with) and you can check the box that says "always use this to open files of this type" or something close to that.
