Hi, I am trying to find the right PC case for my next build and just wanted some opinions or suggestions.

I've looked at about 100 cases so far and this one seems to make a good fit for me - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...e=rosewill_cullinan_mx-_-11-147-275-_-Product

I think Thermaltake has some amazing cases but they didn't have one thing I want which is a PSU shroud cover.

Things I need / want in a case
- Ability to install the 240mm water cooler up TOP without clearance issues of the motherboard / RAM
- PSU Shroud
- Comes with good RGB fans
- Tempered glass side panel

The only thing I don't like about the case is from a review I saw the case fans are NOT controlled by the motherboard and are Molex & SATA. I am wondering if there's a way or some kind of adapter to have them plug into the motherboard instead and be controllable from there? Not sure if something like this would work - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA9F943Y0335&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Cables+-+Printer+(Parallel)+Cables-_-9SIA9F943Y0335&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmPPYBRCgARIsALOziAMZNQzaKFMeOibWdDT_g-iBkccxyoN7wUIEDYOBXjOq5UWaTJ8rCNIaAihhEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Or this? - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod..._re=3_pin_fan_splitter-_-12-162-059-_-Product

Any suggestions to other cases I may have overlooked is appreciated as well as a response to my question.

Thank you for your time.

Have you looked at the DIYPC Vanguard RGB at Newegg? It checked enough boxes for me that I ordered one.

You've probably already looked at it, but the Corsair 570X should tick all the boxes.

I think you should probably just look for a good case without the RGB fans, and add them in separate. This will really expand your options. You could have something like a Fractal Meshify C, and a Corsair Lighting Node Pro + Fans. I think you are going to struggle to find a great case that also has great RGB fans included.

The real problem is that there are too many standards for controlling RGB. Some of it can use the motherboard RGB 12v header, some use some proprietary button on or in the case, the newer addressable stuff seems to all use 5v rgb headers which most motherboards don't have, some need to be plugged in to a proprietary controller (Node Pro, Hue, etc.). If you really want to go all in with RGB, pick a brand and stick with it for all your stuff (fans, cooler, peripherals, case lighting, etc.). It just makes it way easier down the line to unify your lighting. You don't want to have to go through 4 different programs to get all your stuff the same color/effect, and then not have it sync up correctly.

The Corsair Crystal 570X would be a good option, but it only has a half length PSU shroud. If that doesn't bother you, it might be worth a look.

If you have to have the RGB fans included, maybe look at the Cooler Master H500M when it's released later this month. It has the two 200mm fans on the front with addressable RGB, and it will fit a 240 up top with no problem. $200 though.

Just wondering, have you looked at a Fractal Design Define R6? The top mount location is offset from the motherboard to give clearance and supports up to 420mm radiator top, 360mm radiator in front, or 280mm radiator on the bottom (if your radiator was using 140mm fans, you lose the clearance at the top, and only have 36mm thickness of space depending on the motherboard layout). That said, the front mount location has no depth restrictions once moving the movable hard drives to the bottom of the case. Or you could put the 280mm radiator in the bottom of the case (as it supports it there as well). I agree that top is ideal (heat rises, so does hot water).
