I am starting to shop around right now for an GFX 5900 Ultra card and a major factor is gona be the software package. So far, eVGA and PNY have cards out but neither web site says anything about the software package. I found out aboutthe eVGA from a review and still don't know what PNY is including. This is retarded. PNY doesn't even have the 5900 Ultra up on their site!!!!!! Does anyone know where I can get this info???

Just found BFGs Asylum 5900 ultra on their sight. No games but has NVDVD, XP skin software, and video editing software just like the eVGA except for Windows Blinds, all of which I already have. Asylum is not last on my short list.

Gainward is supposed to have one, and their's comes with tons of stuff such as a Firewire card and a sound card. As of now, the card isn't sold seperate. (Right now the card isn't even on sale). but I am going to wait for the Gainward version of this card before I buy it.

The pics are all on their respective websites. I couldn't any PNY picks, but I am sure it looks just like the eVGA and BFG since they usually go similar to the referance card.

I just went to the Terratec sight. It is german, and I don't know if they ship to the US, but their card package is AWESOME!!! It comes with Splinter Cell?, Warcraft® III and Gun Metal. All 3 games I want, though since the sight is german, I am not sure if they are demos or not, or the games themselves are in German. If this is a Europe only, and the games are the Europe versions only, then that will it will be a loss to me. Moving Terratec to the top with eVGA and PNY. Basically it is down to bundle now. I am sure a mass review will be out for all or most of these, but if anyone is in a similar boat that I am in, than some of my notes here will help. I think all or most will have NVDVD 2.0 and some sort of video editing software included. eVGA might have the best editing software of the bunch.

Thanks for the info, think I am going to wait for Gainward though. It seems to have a decent bundle, I assume it will be a top performer, and it looks awesome. With my case, looks is a lot..

I'll post more if you want

That is pretty darn cool man. You did a killer job, but it would be a little too much for my taste. I like a simple baige case. But never the less that is still cool.

****NOTE TO ANYONE READING:
If you know anything about the PNY and/or Asus software packages, please post them here. Also, if anyone knows if the Terratec bundled games are german only or not and if Leadtek is gona release a 256meg version.

Just found out what the PNY package has. No Games just basic software like NVDVD but no video editing unless Verto 3d World has it in it. Here is my new list.

1. PNY/Terratec/eVGA (I own an old PNY Ti500 so I would like to stick with that if possible, PNY is still at the top because a sparse package will likely be cheaper in a few weeks)/(hopefully the terratec can be purchased inthe US with US versions of the games)/(eVGA's only pull with me is the stock overclock to 500/900 and good video editing software)
2. Asus (don't know the software package yet, but the HSF looks stellar)
3. Leadtek (may only have 128megs of ram but comes with Gun Metal, a game I really want)
4. MSI (although only has 128megs of RAM, has a very nice bundle. Cables, software, and games including Morwind, Duke Nukem, and Ghost Recon)
5. Gainward (most likely to be way out of my price range though, and for that price I might as well get a wildcat card)
6. BFG (looks like your basic barebone package NVDVD2.0 and Windows blinds with video editing software, just like the PNY so I would rather ge the PNY over this)

I couldn't find any 5900 Ultra info on Aopen and Creative. I am not sure if they are making them or not.

Hey Evan...do you know when a mass review for these will be out?? And if the Terratec will be available state side??

The LeadTek is a full Ultra with only 128megs of ram. I alos just noticed that it does not come with NVDVD (has WinFast DVD instead) like most of the other cards. The MSI doesn't say specifally, but they do not call their card ultra so I assume it is the lower version.

Everytime I look at the Leadtek site, every card says 256mb plus being an ultra. Not the Title, but the detailed description.

Have you seen pics of gainwards 5900? Go on newegg.com. It has two (2) fans on it. Gotta be loud. Check it out.
