trying to find a song...

Lifer
I heard a song in a restaurant a few days ago.

the only lyrics i can remember are "take it easy" repeated quite a few times
and i'm not 100% sure that it was "take"...could have rhymed.

it was sung by one singer, and the only instrument i recall was one acoustic guitar.

its not the one sung by the eagles, that was the first thing i found/checked...

any ideas?

thanks a ton,
Vivan

The first thing I think of is Slow Ride, by Foghat - but that doesn't sound like what you're talking about.

I know you said acoustic, but what ''style' of music was it?

hmm style...
it definitely sounded like it was written in the past few years
come to think of it, the place was probably just playing a radio station...i was only in there for a few minutes though.
probably best defined as alternative..
when thinking about the guitar the first thing that comes to mind is jack johnson, but a little less twangy and a little more upbeat

and that Foghat song isn't the one, but its still really good 🙂

if anyone gets this..i'm tempted to send a dollar via paypal or something..i'm that desperate!

Found it, "easy" by the Barenaked Ladies 😀

it was "make" not "take"... and i was wrong about the solo acoustic guitar (there's a bit of percussion)
