Trying to find a song name...

The first 2/3 of the song is mainly an instrumental rock song, the last 1/3 of the song sounds like a completly different song and its pretty slow.
I asked a co-worker who sings it but my memory is pretty vauge, i though he mentioned Eric Clapton or The Doors? Ya i know, thats even more vague. If it helps Q107 plays it from time to time here in Toronto
