I'm not quite sure how you were able to set up port forwarding on your router if you don't know to login to your router... but here's how you access your router.

First you need to be connected in your LAN. So if you're not currently in the internal network, then don't bother. Next, open up your web browser and type "192.168.0.1". That's the internal ip that most routers use. If you have a separate cable modem, the internal ip is probably "192.168.100.1". More likely that not, after typing in "192.168.0.1" to access your router ip, you will be prompted for a username and password. If no one has ever setup a username/password on it before, then it's time to take out your router manual and see what the default username/password is. It's probably "guest/guest" or something like that though.

Just like that, you are in your router's configuration. Try not to mess anything up, although you can undo everything anyways.

Not sure if you know this, but here's a quick lesson on routers and your ip. You either have a modem and a router, or a modem/router combo. Either way, the modem knows the external ip. Your router creates internal ips and assigns them to computers on your LAN. When you type "ipconfig", you are asking your computer what ip it has been assigned, which of course is the internal ip given by the router. The router will typically create an ip that looks like "192.168.x.x". If you access your router it might tell you the external ip, but if not, the modem will know for sure.
