Alright....went to BIOS, advanced set-up....there's a "Touchpad Support" option, the two setting options are "dual" and "single"; dual was the default setting and where it was set in the beginning. I just set it to single, but the same crap is still happening.
I figured if I put it to "single" the laptop would recognize only one pointing device at a time (instead of toggling between the mouse and the touch pad) but that's not the case.
Any ideas?
