Trying to DELETE an application?

I right click and i hit delete and it sits and thinks for a minute then DONG this program is in use by another person or program. I don't have anyother programs running to close and i only have one user set up on this computer. I went in to task manager and closed down almost everything and the Darn thing just wont delete! Is there some way i can figure out what program is using this program that i'm trying to delete so that i can delete it?
 
Its possible that the program is still currently running as a process... Ctrl+Alt+Del and end the process manually, then delete the file.
 
Use add / delete as mentioned before. if it still won't let you delete it than do it in safe mode
as mentioned before. it might help if we new what program you are deleting.
