Sorry, I am still in the air about mainboards. I like the Abit for my Duron 650, but I keep reading about all the horror stories on this board. I am trying to wait for the new MSI Pro 2, but I hate the idea of that damn CNR slot, which is useless.
Someone help...please. Abit, MSI ...maybe even the Asus.

If you want less issues, I'd advise the Asus or Abit. True, there are a lot of people having trouble, but chances are if you get the first generation MSI Pro2s, there will be issues for those too. The Abit and Asus are already established and more mature, and should thus present less problems ig you buy soon.
 
Well, I found the Abit for 128.00 @ Microbarn. It is the board that I really like ...with the ISA and all. That may be it ...will watch and see for a week, anyway. One thing I found was a web page that addresses all the issues with the Abit. I will read up on that.
I hope that some will tell me of the really good or bad experiences they have had with the Abit.
