Trying to decide on an LGA775 Mobo

Hi Folks - I am putting together a new build to replace my aging AMD rig and have narrowed it down to one of two Gigabyte boards, the UD3P or UD3R - they seem like the exact same board except the UD3P is $20 more and has a second lan port and loses a pci slot for a second video card.

I will not be using either a second lan port or a second video card - any reason to go for the extra $20 for the UD3P? Any other boards I should consider? I will be using for a mix of Office 07, video and photoshop, and a little old-school gaming like Ultima Online.

Thanks folks!

Would like to hear what people have to offer on this matter as i'm in a similar situation. I will be building a mate a PC soon (might be using my CPU+MB) then looking to upgrade my own system.

The mb with the latest bios are much better in terms of ram oc'ing. My current ram which is a buffalo firestix pc6400 (elpida ic) did 510mhz fully stable with T-Power I45 and with this mb it did 532Mhz.

Will replace the ram with 2x2gb 533Mhz+ Powerchips, If I get yet another crappy oc'ing ram, It's trully written in the stars that I have bad luck with ram 🙁 .

All the straps/ram ratio works on this mb. This gives you another option to squeeze performance in a different approach, if you aren't into seeking high fsb scenario.
