Trying to decide on a digital camera- Nikon 885 or Kodak DC4800

I am stuck between these two, I would really like to get the Canon G2, but can't afford it right now. I like the idea of being able to use a fisheye lens on the Nikon, but have heard the color the 885 is a little off. The DC4800 is a good camera, but older and discontinued. What do you guys think? Thanks!

I have owned both of these cameras and can say hands down, that the 885 produced stunningly beautiful shots while the kodak took adequate snapshots. The downside is that nikon series has a hisotry of bright pixel problems, but that's what warranties are for 🙂.

Thanks! I picked up the 885 at my local Costco and it does take great shots. The red is a little high but that's the only problem I have seen so far. Thanks again,

have you considered the toshiba PDR-M71....little less expensive and 3mp camera will similar features???

i vote nikon. i have the coolpix 775 nikon. everywhere i went the store clerks said not to get kodak cuz they were bad. go figure. they told me go nikon, canon or olympus.

Thanks for the input- I have a small list of must haves for a digi cam.
Compact flash
3MP+
must accept additional lenses.
Thanks for all your help!
