Here is an underwater MOVIE made using this camera:

5MB

Is that really same camera?!!! its ****** impressive!

I went with S3 as I have no plans to go underwater... but I will need it for snowboarding trips... mmmmm

Yup yup. It's with something called a Magic Filter though. The Magic Filter is basically an underwater-only filter that makes sure that underwater stuff look natural without the use of a flash. When I first saw that movie I was like OMG Pretty! ><

Bah, I personally don't think I'm asking too much?!

1. No arbitrary limits on video shooting?! Every camera should be able to shoot at their highest resolution up to the memory card's capacity?! All limits are just for stupid marketing purposes?!

2. Able to zoom while recording movies?! How is this a demanding requirement?! *smacks forehead against table*

3. Not use dumb proprietary memory cards like xD and Memory Stick?! Doesn't seem too hard to do to me?!

4. Have a lens wider than 35mm?! 28mm is so much more useful?!

5. Have an underwater enclosure available?! Considering that I want to take this camera underwater..... ?!

:p

Why not shoot the underwater portion with a disposable and bring the SLR for everything else?

I want to shoot video underwater too. :(

I may be speaking out my ass, but shooting video underwater at any quality above crap seems like it would require expensive equipment.

Heh, excuse my ass, it talks too much :p

But seriously, If you want something with your specs you should be asking around at photography stores and photo forums.

I think that my Canon A620 might fit those requirements. I don't know anything about cameras, but that all sounds about right.

In other news, I'm trying to find a Kia that rides like a Cadillac, performs like a Ferrari, and has the utility of a military Hummer, while staying under $10k.

Is that price with or without the platinum rims?
