Trying to Break a Computer :UPDATE:

Alright guys. I realy don't know what to do, here is the situation.
I'm a 14 year gamer and unfortunately my computer is way outdated... half a GB of ram, Nvidia 5200, ect...

But my parents won't let me get a computer... you're all probobly thinking shut the ****** and get a job you retard.

Well guess what I HAVE a job but don't get paid... I volunteer at a hospital! yes... its long, boring, and I don't get paid but I feel it's a nice thing to do

But still I can pay with the money I earned from my last job (constuction at age 13)

All my parents need to do is is purshase it for me (with my hard earned money)

Yet: they still won't do it... they say this computer works fine (which it doesn't) this thing overheats like a mother @$!%#! and 12 frames per second on lowest Bf2 settings is sad
________
____________

Now I know breaking a computer sounds stupid but the fact is my parents won't let me spend *MY* money on something I realy want and earned

It's very unreasonable

Anyway I don't realy wish to break the computer...
What I want to do it find some fake virus, adaware, whatever they call them... something that will temporarely ****** up the computer but can be fixed easily

Hopefully someone understands, thanks

Dude, if its your want to play bf2 well its your responsbility not his. You pay for it not him. Your dad's job is to feed you, clothe you, give you a house to stay in, and keep you in school.

I mean, im 13 and im sick of my using my 2ghz p4 integrated graphics gateway notebook to game.
Ive been saving for 4 months, $600 so far. Birthday is in a couple of months, and im set.

When I was your age, a good game of pong cost a quarter...,"And we LIKED it!!!!" We were lucky if our digital watches had good tunes for the alarms! Calculators, are you kidding, MIT had them on backorder at $1000 each. NASA had better luck with a ton of fuel strapped to a metal cylinder built by the lowest bidder to get us to the moon...they didn't need computers! And you're complaining because you can't play all the latest and greatest?!?!?!? Here's a few ideas: mow a lawn, rake some leaves, clean a house, pick up pop cans, have a garage sale, sell cookies, buck hay, pick berries, and FOR GOD SAKES...PULL UP YOUR PANTS; NOBODY is interested in seeing your crack!

ok well... i have the money that i have been saveing from selling crap on paypal $500 total and other crap that i have been doing i have made $600. ok so now stop being ass holes and tell me how to break this comp. mydad just wont let me use my money because i need a credit card to order off newegg, and like i said before he says "their's nothing wrong with it so you dont need a new one" ok? i have the money, i have my dream comp on a piece of paper, but i dont have a credit card.

How to destroy your computer.

Note the hilarious way he responds to people who ask for help destroying computers to commit fraud. See the last letter here. There've been several others who asked for help there too.

Incidentally, there's no way you're overclocking a Sony Vaio even a little bit anyway. That's the beauty of proprietary OEM hardware.

What should your dad care about how you spend your money? If he's concerned about sending his credit card info online, you can place an order by phone at most places. Your 600 dollars can get a pretty decent machine (or if I read right, 1100 dollars can get a really nice machine). And no need to break a perfectly working machine. Let the rest of the family use it, while you have your own machine that they can't screw up installing "old people software" like screensavers that show vacation photos.

Take some live wires to the mobo, a guy a know does that to screw best buy and their warrantee. May God one day strike you down with dooom!!

Make sure you're holding onto an uninulated part of the wires, to make sure it gets good continuity!

Well then he's a bigger douche than you are for thinking it's okay.

get at least 20 paper clips and while on drop them onto difrents parts and if it falls in the right place it can short somthing out...esay

or just put on of the paper clips in the cpu fan. and then it should over heat possibly. or spill a bit of water on the ram enoufh for the ocmputer to shut off by itslef and then let it drie up and see if it works?

Or you can say you're going to a friends house for a lan party and beat the piss outta the computer with a bat (video tape it mind you) and say you dropped it down osme stairs on your way over (seeing as you can afford one). 😛

If you have a cat or dog, just collect a ton of it's hair and just keep feeding it into the fan intake until it dies...seriously, you should do this if for no other reason then making me very happy.

Not to pile on top of this already festering topic, but yet, in doing so, I have to say, that really is pathetic. Work your butt off, earn a computer. If you actually work towards a dedicated goal (not the two times you mowed Mrs. Dinky's Lawn, or birthday money, etc.), presenting your plans coherently and intelligently, demonstrating to your parent why it is essential for you to get a new machine, chances are, said parent will spring for it.

As a direct example, I point out myself 🙂
I, a lowly fourteen-year old, received an already outdated powerbook (867 mghz, 256 mb ram, 40 gig HD) at age 11. Since the age of twelve, I have endeavoured to replace said computer, so I actually have a chance of playing any sort of game, or doing any sort of processor intensive task. I spent literally the last year and a half begging, proposing, pestering, and saving.

Now, I've saved up the requisite $1900 to buy a 20 in iMac (don't start with mac flames, please), and yes, I did earn most of it.
I'm due to get it in 9 days. Three and a half years. Basically, two of them saving. I did have the luck of being a half decent jazz piano playing type (gigs= source of cash), and a few lucky opportunities for making cash. (worst being spending 7 hrs to clean rust off a metal gate, for 250$, but sadly, a one time deal).

It's possible. It's certainly worth it. And if your father opposes a serious, dedicated plan, that also is reasonable, and has some sort of parental motivation, par example, not 'i wanna game w00t' but rather, "This bizzare device, as useless as it might seem, has been proven to increase motor skill functions, better cognitive recognition habits, and above all, the perfect tool for education purposes, to access key information quickly and efficiently, in addition, a creative outlet for emotional stresses in a recreational setting.' (Don't worry, I didn't really understand what I just wrote either). Use a little basic knowledge of human pride, etc. Improve your grammar. Give him a goal you've set, that he also wants, that will reward you with the computer you seek.
If none of this works, you aren't sharing the full story, or your family has much more serious problems than mere computer upgrades.

In that case, unplug the computer, conceal the outlet in question with a disgusting wastepaper basket, and tell him that evil spirits have invaded the computer, and they won't let you turn it on. Hop up and down, writhe, and then attack your computer with a sledgehammer at 3 AM. That will show 'em.

Lastly, why does everyone (excepting me, of course, being the precocious child I am.) have trble spelingg dis stuf?

Oy,
and,
Best of luck,

~Molinjir
