wow....that ZYBAN is expensive
Like others have said, so is smoking for the rest of your life.

You don't need anything to quit smoking.Don't take the Zyban. Don't let yourself be clouded by anti-depresents. You don't need an anti-depresents to quit. You are chemically addicted to nicotine and mentally addicted to the habits. The anti-depresents may help you overcome the chemical addiction, but once you go off of them, the mental addiction will still be there.
This is just all my opinion though. I'm a very light smoker. I go through about a pack a week at most.

The problem with the patch, gum, etc. is that they are just alternative nicotine delivery systems. They may help you break the mechanical habit of inhaling tobacco smoke, but they do nothing to break the physical addition to nicotine, itself.
Yep. Ex-smoker/drinker here.Originally posted by: Trashman
if anyone has done same, and tried using the patch or gum.
I think i need some help doing this, cold turkey, just ain't cuttin it.....i tend to get weak, and sneak one in.
Just curious if the patch works better, or maybe the gum,. With the gum, i figure i could take one when cravings get bad.
These aids are rather expensive, and just wanna make sure beore i buy.
Any ex-smokers out there!!!!!!!!!!!
Help
Thanx,
Richard
