Yeah but Eli, if you are lifting weights you definitley don't want to cut out good protein. I'm talking about fish and chicken basically. I never limited my protein intake and it's been working for me...as long as it's not processed garbage and it's good meat.

and do you have a small frame?? i could never see myself going lower than 185lbs and I'm only an inch taller. last thing i want to be is a tiny little guy

Oh, and I forgot.. Drink water! Lots and lots of water! Drink until your pee is crystal clear. That's the way it's supposed to be. Yellow urine means concentrated. Preferrably filtered water. Get one of those Pur filters, that just go on your faucet. They rock! You won't believe how much better your water tastes, assuming your water is city water.

Juice drinks and pop are nothing but sugar water. Sugar is acid-producing. Our body must neutralize this acid situation. Do you know what it uses? Calcium. Do you know where it gets the calcium if we're not getting it in our diet? Our bones. Protein is also acidic.

Try and ween yourself off things. It's too difficult to just stop instantly. Don't scald yourself when you give in, instead reassure yourself.. that it's okay this time, but next time.....

If your healthy, occasional "bad" things aren't going to hurt you(Clog your colon up, maybe..). But the problem is that we eat it as our main diet.

You're supposed to go to the bathroom (#2) every day. If you don't, you've got problems. Your body isn't an infinate garbage can. What goes in must come out, especially if what goes in is toxic.

Try and stay away from processed foods. They're worthless. You can't take everything out of something, and put a few key(most of the time, synthetic.. You think your body can't tell the diffrence? Right..) vitamins and minerals back in.

Point: Natural vitamin C(As in, the kind you'd get in an Orange) is a combination of 9 diffrent substances. Yet, they say ascorbic acid is "vitamin C". Their are over 900 diffrent chemical compounds(that we know of) in an orange. Are you going to take 900 pills, or just eat the orange?

Kami- Yeah, that is very true. You need protein if you're going to build muscles. BBut remember that you have to be working out to do that. ;) Heh.. But there are plant-based sources of protein, too. Not just meat. :) Soy products and seeds(nuts).. Some people even argue that plant-based sources of protein are superior to meat. Easier to digest, and they don't throw your digestive system into deaththrawls..

No, I don't have a small frame.. I'm big boned, really. I can hold the weight. I'm thin now(no belly or boobs;)), but still stalky, or whatever.
