You can't! First time I noticed this crap. Shows they are a true monopoly since both have ping requests off. Partners in crime.

I didn't get a response from either site, but may just be the routes/servers are different (two different Akamai IPs posted already). Doesn't seem like a big deal.

Either that, or some router in between you and them, owned by heck knows who, isn't forwarding IMPC (IPMC? I can't remember the acronym.)

Lots of sites block ICMP now. One less attack surface, I suppose.

Just noticed in my tracert that opi.com.pk host, kinda odd, can't find much info on that. Looks like it's some kind of telco based on Toronto if I whois the ip. .pk is Pakistan though, odd they used that domain TLD. The actual domain is owned by Orient Petroleum Inc which is in Pakistan and does not actually resolve.

Are the packies spying on us? :ninja: Of course that's just the reverse lookup for that IP so the telco can put anything they want there. The actual IP is owned by a Toronto telco called TATA.

Works ok here. Also I set all my pcs and the router not to respond to ping requests.

It has to be skynet bro.
Cut the crap. Me and thousands of others know that PayPal & eBay are a monopoly.
Chinese online retailers with their own payment systems have superseded ebay both in revenues and sold merchandise long ago, not to mention Paypal is no longer an ebay subsidiary, they spun off last year.

John, when you drink, take time to breathe between gulps. Oxygen deprivation can make you paranoid. Being drunk makes you stupid. Get stupid and paranoid enough and people will think you're a Republican.

Oh, man I wouldn't want that. I'm actually a staunch Conservative. Not a meddling Republican.

R's and D's are one and the damn same if you ask me. Shame my state doesn't have a Conservative option when you register.

I know that, but I ask you. Does Fleabay take other forms of escrow?
Yes, you can pay on eBay directly with your credit card although most sellers require paypal, because they know immediately that their stuff has been paid before they ship(if you sell anything, paypal has your earnings locked for about a week or so).
