Try out this flowers company if you are about to order some...

Scarpozzi

I don't normally advertise for companies, but I'm impressed with them and wonder if anyone else has used them. Proflowers...they had a promotion before Christmas, so I ordered some roses and a stuffed animal for my wife. She is still talking about how pretty they were, blah blah blah...and it's been 3 weeks.

The deal though is they shipped them FedEx. I'm used to these online orders going through a local florist (teleflorist, etc). So they came wrapped in plastic in a box. She had to assemble and arrange the bouquet from what came in the box, but they looked amazing!. I think because they were shipped overnight, they were a few days fresher than what the florist has. Prices are moderate to high, as all online companies are...but overall, I would order from them again. Anyone ever used them?

Yep, they are expensive but their flowers are gorgeous and seem to last longer than flowers from most florists I've used in the past.

I used them back in december, got 2 dozen roses and a box of chocolates for 29.99. came out to like 38 or 39 bucks after shipping. not too bad. I wasn't sure how'd they arrive, didn't realize I'd have to assemble them.

If you listen to talk radio they usually have a coupon code they give out during each show (usually the last name of the host).

I've generally had good luck with proflowers as well. Although the first time I ordered from them the shipment got lost and before I could tell my wife it was delivered three weeks late. She called me up and was like "what the he^&! Why did you send me a box of dead roses?"

Luckily proflowers was cool about it and sent out another expedited shipment for no extra charge.

You hadn't heard of Proflowers before???

Maybe it's L.A. area that gets bombed w/ them, but Proflowers is HUGE here in the Los Angeles area.

Typically they do well and have a better track record than 1-800 flowers. Those guys failed my mother last year and they'll never get her business again.

I recommended Proflowers to my mom since then and I think she's been using them faithfully since.
