But looking at the last few pages.... This question is SO grade school, but here goes.

It was time to re-up for cable. Vios did ZIP for me, Optimum did well. So I went with them, and treated my self to the next level of net. 50/25 I believe. 2 things....
Numbers prior to upgrade.
18/5 18.2/4.8 18.1/4.9
Numbers after upgrade.
50.3/4.8 51.3/4.9 51.8/5.1

Question one. Whats wrong with my upload?

Second thing. Since the upgrade, both IE and Mozzila crash. A LOT.
Mozz at least once a session. IE. Multiple times per session.
Watching the net monitor, I almost swear I am losing conection.
Weird timing or something up?
NEITHER browser crashed prior.

I appreciate the comments, and like I said.... I get it this is playground questions based upon some of the stuff I see hear... Go easy LOL:$

I think browsers shouldn't crash because of lost connections... Other than that you'd need to be more specific. Anything else changed ? what? Any factors you can think of?

Might be worth a try to contact customer support and ask them wha'ts wrong with your upload. They have tools to measure several things. Saying this I don't know these companies as I don't live in the US (or wherever you are).

Have you run AV scans ? Have you re-installed recently or very long time ago ?

Uploads are usually very limited by all providers. Usually upload doesn't scale up as much as download speeds do...you reach a point where they just cap the upload speed.

What did they really sell you? 50/25 seems odd.

Did you have any custom settings / drivers installed with your prior upgrades.

It is possible a bad data connection can crash / BSOD a computer though.

Did you make sure that the computer security protection is tuned to the NR system NAT/IP/MAC?
