Ugh. Just learned a new meaning for this word.

This meaning has nothing to do with networks or any of several disgusting sexual connotations as described -- NSFW -- by the urban dictionary.

It describes this even sadder and more disgusting act:

A dog fight held in a closed car trunk. The trunk is closed for 15 to 30 minutes before they open it. The dog left alive is the winner. This method is used because it is hard for police to detect and even more difficult to prosecute.

Just heard an animal rights activist from the lovely city of Camden, NJ describe this on the radio. She said pitbulls were used. 🙁 🙁 🙁

I weep for the depravity of my fellow humans.

That's sad which is why I get so angry when asshats get all uppity that pets are only animals and "who cares"...this leads to crap like this.

The second issue I have is so many pitbull-activists want to live their life doing drugs and looking like/acting like a criminal. They are their own worst enemy.

In the end the dogs are just fodder.
 
That's pretty sick but how is it hard to detect blood in the trunk of someone's car from the fights?
 
At one time bloodsports were much more common. But putting two dogs in a confined space in which the fight itself cant even be seen is pretty cold. 🙁

Isn't it the pitbulls fault for being such vicious dogs? They are doing us a favor. If you but two bunnies in a trunk for 30minutes you get 3 bunnies.

Dont even go there its misconception like what you have is the problem... MAN bread those dogs to have that aggression not the dog itself so the favor might be to put the breeder and misconceiver in the trunk...? Also many of them are very docile and do like most any other breed which is to protect...
 
Wow that is freaking brutal sick. I wish laws would be more strict for this type of stuff. These people need to be placed in a mental institute or at least something done to them. They are screwed up in the head for thinking this is ok.

Is it bad that when I hear the word "trunking" I think of T1 lines and phones? lol
 
sounds like one of those media things that is not confirmed or almost never happens.

i'm sure these people want to see the fight...so kinda not the point.

Dogfights are for dumbasses. When they drop off the dogs they don't want they terrorise housepets until somebody has to shoot them.

I say we lock a few of the dogfighters up after starving them for a week and throw a steak in with them along with a handgun and see how they feel about it.

That totally sounds like fun, but make it a revolver with only one bullet, at a random spot. Maybe have two guns like this thrown at oposite ends of the room.

Variants of this sport could also include melee weapons instead, for a longer lasting fight. Has to be two guys that hate each other, too.
 
The really sad part is that I bet at least one person who reads this thread will read the first definition on the urban dictionary and then proceed to google trunking in hopes of seeing it in action...
