Time indexed for the correct moment, and here's a screenshot I made showing Trump momentarily only having three fingers on his left hand:

I doubt it's AI. The hands jump weirdly, but I see a fingertip and fingernail behind Trump's middle finger. (Which is unusual - it's usually standing on its own toward most people. :p)

This kind of image is why AI gets the number of fingers wrong often, though: one finger can easily hide another in the training data.

ETA: When you freeze-frame most AI video with motion, the motion looks like a blurry mess. I don't see that in this freeze-frame at all.

Point it out? I see the backside of his thumb behind his middle finger (as well as his other hand obviously).

Looking at it with regard to what @Ken g6 said, I think I see what he means (there's a fingertip behind the most visible 'top' finger), but the position of that mostly-not-visible finger then seems to conflict with the visible part of his thumb, IMO. I'm not as sure as I was that it's AI.

I don't believe it's AI.

Does seem like an increasing problem though. I did wonder when he sent out a flurry of social media postings, in the middle of the rumours that he was dead or seriously ill, whether _those_ could be AI generated. Be very hard to tell with this guy. Just train it on his history of bonkers posts, and any AI hallucinations could be easily explained away as just Trump being Trump.

And the scope for covering things up (like a dead head-of-state) seems to be increasing all the time. E.g. all the bad photo-shopped images put out by the Royals not long ago (which, allegedly, were the personal work of Kate herself!). I mean, in future they could potentially AI generate the entire royal family, and thus avoid the endless scandals and embarrassments that the real thing cause.

Max Headroom for President! (though ironically he _wasn't_ actually AI generated, that was a real person made to look like AI)

  1. No reason to.
  2. Some sloppy compression / streaming software is probably responsible for the frame jump. It's hardly a telltale sign of something specific.
Remember, Trump has now done interviews on Fox, etc. After this address. He appeared normal, for him.

The address itself was pathetic. I hit stop when he said "we ask God to watch over them in this terrib..."

He's a psycho, phony, imbecile. It's a disgrace that he was elected in November 2024.
