Trumps northeast Blitzkrieg

Wow the northeast fell quicker than poland in 1939 leaving the nevertrump allies in shambles.

Looks like the cruz/kasich plan backfired and just ended up getting even more people to the polls to vote for trump. His broke 50%. I think at this point they need to change the rules and require 1500 delegates for the nomination.

At this point it is looking like he might get the magic number. So the rules will need to be changed in order to stop him.

They should just change the rules to requiring Canadian citizenship and call it a day.

Otherwise it's a joke.

Rs can never again make digs about superdelegates when all the top GOP leaders are openly talking about plots to steal the nomination from the guy clearly winning the people's votes.

It looks like the Cruz game plan backfired badly and ended up helping trump.

In Maryland, Trump was winning “very conservative” voters — the group that has been the mainstay of Cruz’s support — 52 percent to 36 percent, according to exit polls. He was carrying 50 percent of “very conservative” voters in Connecticut, to Cruz’s 32 percent.
And in Pennsylvania, Trump was headed to a big victory, crushing Cruz among evangelical voters, 57 percent to 30 percent.

Wow look at how bad Cruz did. Did he even come second in any state?

Apparently he is following the Little Marco strategy. I'll lose this and this and this and that and that one and this one and that and this but when it gets to this one state I'll dominate!

kashich is betting on a contested convention and being the nominee. The horsetrading between the two of them is way too obvious to voters. At this point trump might end up getting votes he would not have had before due to people protesting the process.

It will be interesting to see how he does in the next few states.

The Koch brothers and other insiders are just willing to poison the GOP nomination to make sure Hillary gets elected now that Jeb and Marco are out.

Guess none of you realize the Cruz/Kasich plan didn't include this primary, it's for the next contests. They both knew they were getting blown out in the NE.

No shit sherlock. He blew away the numbers even amongst typical conservative cruz voters.

It has been on the news day and night about the whole cruz/kasich nevertrump pact.

All they did was turn off voters and it backfired. The whole thing smells like dirty politics and voters are tired of it. All they did was bring more light on it and it backfired badly.

He won by larger margins thanks to this epic fail nevertrump pact. There were probably more protest votes for trump because of it.

Voters giving the finger to the Establishment! Even though I don't like Trump I still feel a thrill of schadenfreude.

So in the general election we get to pick between whether we'd have the bought and paid for shill who will get us in at least one war, or the clueless business mogul who can't be bothered to bring himself up to minimum competence for the issues most important to the job he's ostensibly seeking.

The only way this election could be worse was if Jimmy Carter and Sarah Palin decided to throw their hats into the ring.

Trump could still pick Palin as his VP...you could get half of your wish 🙂

If this whole thing was a game that got out of control for trump he will choose palin as a way to quit without having to be explicit about it.

He knows Palin is poison.

trumps like....listen to this crazy broad.

God I hope he gets enough delegates to clinch it. Actually... even if he doesn't it'll be a hell of a show at the convention. Seems like the GoP is going to implode no matter which way the chips land at this point.

Feel the burn or feel the trump.
Hillary's in for one of the two.
Face it. Everyone knew Hillary was destine to control and eventually win this entire election process.
Everyone knew this from day one.
So Hillary strolls her way into the Whitehouse, and republicans decide not to take this election cycle serious.
Ive always said this election is more like a re-election.
The re-election of a democrat succeeding a democrat. Just as if Obama was running for a third term.
When the other side knows they can't win and their efforts are pointless, they do stupid things. Like putting George McGovern up against Richard Nixon.
Or putting Walter Mondale up against Ronald Reagan.
Or Bob Dole up against Bill Clinton.

And here we are, again.
Donald Trump up against Hillary Clinton.
And guess who the winner is destine to be?
But I guess we have to pay homage to playing the game, regardless.
Someone had to go up against Hillary, knowing well their efforts would be fruitless.
Hell... Even Charles Koch hints he would support Hillary. If that doesn't tell it all, well what would it take?

The Duck was projected to win Northeast long, long ago. No chance in hell yankees would have voted for a fundamentalist psychopath. I do not believe Cruz-Kaisch alliance had any impact at all.

If the election were to be held tomorrow Clinton would win 30+ states in a landslide. She is being gifted beyond my wildest imagination. Whatever Cruz's pathology might be, the truth is being a 40-something male has an incalculable advantage over almost-70 grandma. (Just imagine you are hiring a talent for your business.) Facing The Duck who is even older than her, Clinton need not worry about one of her biggest baggages. (Is it any wonder The Duck is attacking Clinton's stamina? Hah.) We shall see how The Duck will carry out the campaign for the general but I doubt he can truly pull off a presidential metamorphosis. Maybe he will surprise me. XD

If Trump obtaining all delegates to become the nominee of the GOP means the slow, painful, deserving death of the GOP, then I am all for it.

Either way, Clinton vs. Trump is far less embarrassing than either Clinton vs. Cruz or Clinton vs. Kasich.

The best show will be if he's close but still just short. Here's hoping. 🙂

The Repugs are in a in serious trouble.

They have Trump, which many Repugs HATE.

The chance for Trump to win the presidency is low.

Hillary is gonna stick it to these old fogies to be the 1st female president!

U mad?

Over confident much?

Here is what is really gonna happen; Hillary disassemble.

Trump is a business man, a very wealthy, well connected business man. He has moles who feed him intel. Guarantee you he knows things about Hillary, her money, who gave it to her and when to expose it. I look forward to the games to begin, unless the FBI stops her first. Watching Trump re-deflower her on the public stage is going to probably be the most entertainment I've had in a lifetime.

Her constant playing of the "woman card" is nothing more than an excuse of her character. Well, we vote for character, not gender.

Cheerio! 😉
