I hope it doesn't come to this, but here's the worst-case scenario I thought of:

1. Republicans take the House in November.
2. Republicans name Trump Speaker of the House. Because the speaker doesn't have to be a member of Congress, or so I hear.
3. The zombie base manages a coup against the President and VP.
4. Trump becomes President again.

It could happen as early as January. Long before he could be convicted of anything that would bar holding office. And he'd still be eligible to run again in two years.

You can prevent this at step 1 if you vote for Democrats in November.
Someone needs to stop visiting the Q tard sites.

How do you see Trumps future or legacy? And how would it affect the countrys politics or potential troubles that may arise out of the rejection of his base of an outcome they do not want? Will they just move on to other extreme repubs who would take on his mantle to carry on the fight? Will Trump be a martyr or forgotten in a few years?

Btw, Biden can only pardon those charged with federal crimes (ie, stolen classified documents), but not for other crimes they may be accused of. So ultimately Trump may still end up in jail and/or fined huge sums which may destroy him financially.
He is not supposedly as rich as he claims.

Admittedly this is a terrible thing to say, but whatever else his future is - I just hope it is short. Very short. Less than two years short. The sooner this country can start putting him behind us the better.
Blame the Tea party for starting this BS.

As with everyone else in the world, President Trump will die. No one gets out alive.
Not soon enough.

Lots of options but all I hope is the man suffers as much as possible.
Absolutely...in a deep, dark prison cell with "Bubba" as his cell mate.

Don't forget his family and rest of enablers too! I want them ALL to pay a price.
Broke, destitute, and in prison.

He will die before his trials and appeals conclude.
Whether that takes 2 months, or 10 years. Between appeals and the USSC, Trump will never be held to pay for his crimes.

He's going to be remembered as a George Wallace or a Huey Long who actually became President for a single term and divided the nation.
I think that's unfair to Huey Long. He seemed a much more morally-and-politically-complicated figure than Trump.

Chicken shit will flee the country
Can we pay him to take his supporters with him as Russia is the dream work where they can start anew.

Just think about it.. their ancestors immigrated here for a fresh start. Russia gives them a fresh start and its 100% white. No leftists, no gays, no trans, no political opposition.. why the fuck are they making themselves miserable in America.

Russia is only a plane flight away!

I completely agree. This forum is full of people who talk about Trump too much. I am in the middle politically and visit both left and right forums on various sites. The left mentions and talks about Trump far more than the right does. All they are doing is giving him the attention he wants. he doesnt care, good or bad, he just wants the spotlight and they give it to him. Just go through threads here, see who is obsessed more with Trump. The left cant help but talk about him.

Without reading the other responses I have to say that none of the poll choices clicks with me. I don't know what his future is, but I think he's absolutely unelectable at this point. He's not capable of holding any public office and being the least bit qualified, much less POTUS. The announcement out of NY yesterday concerned a civil suit to levy $250,000,000 penalties against the Trump family. That may not be a back breaker for them. But criminal prosecution is likely to follow in NY. He's also under I believe criminal prosecution proceedings in Georgia and the JD is certainly apt to indict him concerning his stolen 11,000 documents and 100 secret, top secret and TS/SCI absconding and refusal to relinquish said documents for a year and a half. On top of that, I think they have a good case against him for insurrection leading up to and on Jan. 6, 2021.

His assets are probably doing badly. When the dust settles he may well be bankrupt again, that wouldn't surprise me. He may never get on his feet financially.

Will he serve time? I certainly hope so, I hope a lot. It would be good for the country. Republicans need a good dose of reality shoved in their face.

Trump is the closest thing to a king maker in the R party, nobody else is even trying. He has influence. He shouldn't but he does. What's going on in the forums doesn't mean shit.

Trump's future?????
You have to remember, Donald Trump is down to the Q's
All Trump has to depend on are the Q's and the more Trump plays up to the Q's the more every other non Q republican is turned off. Lets face it, Donald Trump's magic potion is wearing off. If all you have are Q's to preach to and that will listen to you, you're in pretty bad shape.

Yes, I think the time for Donald Trump to make some miraculous comeback has left him for good. It's not gonna happen. The republicans have realized they simply no longer want all that damn Trump drama in their lives. Maybe they don't care about classified documents or lawsuits or investigations or threatened indictments, but they do care about putting up with the damn drama and that republicans are tired of.

I disagree. Trump is still popular as hell with mainstream Republicans who only care about owning the libs...and winning. Trump still wields a shit ton of power...and money for campaigns. (even if he himself doesn't give the money, he still directs a lot of campaign donations to other candidates.

Saint Reagan he ain't and that's a really low bar to begin with. This slippery slimy worm of a man will spend whatever it takes to delay the inevitable for as long as he can scam his supporters for donations be it campaign, defense fund, etc.

He'll climb his way up the appeals ladder where we all know his handpicked corporate stooges sitting high on their benches at SCOTUS will do a much better job of getting Trump off the hook than Aileen Cannon ever could.

How is that remotely possible?
1. Well, there are a lot of unwise voters. :innocent: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2022-election-forecast/house/
2. https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/08/politics/trump-house-speaker/index.html
But before we foreclose the idea of House Speaker Donald Trump in 2023, let me remind you that the speaker does not have to be an elected member of Congress. It can be anyone who a majority of House members choose.
It's not very likely, but unlike step 1, it's not something the voters can control.
3. They are pretty stupid, but they almost managed to "hang Mike Pence" last time. Reference: January 6 hearings

Is CNN a Q tard site now? I heard there were strange goings-on there, but I haven't followed them closely.

I'd certainly sleep better if someone could show me that it's not possible.

And we have millions of Trump's supporters on their knees desperately praying for Trump to escape the noose again and again and again cheering him on every time he sticks it to "the man" (whoever He is). Whatever crimes he's committed and/or will commit are either forgivable or forgettable. The big deal for them is his ability to beat the system time and again, the same system that they've been told has cheated them out of what they're owed (whatever it is, I think they don't really know and don't care to know). It's all about getting payback for being neglected by the gov't yet they keep demanding that the gov't needs to leave them alone.

Want all your gov't benefits taken away? Well, the Repubs in the legislature have been working at that for nigh on decades so no problemo for their Repub middle class and their poor, right? Main thing is those commie socialist muslim border crashing murdering rapists don't get them too.

This is the twisted fascist mindset so many working class Repubs have been mind fucked courtesy of their own leadership. This is their normal. Being racists, purists (Nazis) and supremacists is being normal. Being sympathetic to Vlad Putin and his fascist style of governance is normal because he's a really good friend of Trump who also wants to lead a fascist nation. The spiral down into the abyss in order to get their way is normal, a normality that excludes the majority of the nation who don't see things the way these fascists do.

Of course they can’t help it. They are full of fear that logic and reason are dead. They are afraid Trump will win and destroy the country.

You are ignoring the fact, however, that their fears as opposed to you ignorance is bliss attitude are founded in reality. We still do not knew for sure the country won’t fall to irrational madness. But every day the news gets more and more assuring the end of Trump is happening before our every eyes. Sorry you aren’t apparently sane enough yourself to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Fear creates irrational hate, but both sides are not equal. The left may suffer Trump derangement syndrome but absent a real threat from the right the left has better tools to self correct.

When you fear being afraid, when you think taking a middle road politically can absolve you from the taint of it, you practice just another form of denial. What you fear is the truth you are an ostrich with its head in the sand. You abdicate your responsibility to see reality for what it is. Your mindset makes Trump possible. It is all we need for evil to succeed. And you don’t have to be deranged to see that about you or hate you for it.

Why is that relevant?
There were legit rumblings about just this scenario (Trump as Speaker) a while back. Several vocal GQP members, Gaetz included, were saying they'd nominate him as speaker. It has legs because McCarthy is loathed by all involved. I

f the last ~5 years have taught us anything, it's that these wackjobs are capable of making the seemingly insane a reality.

Is the idea that Biden and Harris will both die or something?
