I've always said that the Republicans were much better at political strategy than the dems. They show it time and time again that they know their audience well and how to manipulate them to get what they want. I never thought a party that obstructed a president at every turn and one who was willing to financially hurt this country to get their way would ever be elected again and yet here we are, not only were they elected but they were rewarded with the presidency. I wonder if they even thought of their political moves as a gamble?

I'm pretty sure they're aware that "both sides equally bad" keeps the honest people at home while loyal servants do their duty.

Indeed, as evident when Republican pundit began going on TV and saying as much.

Agreed.

Now you're a Social Democrat after Strongman Trump won?
No, I'm a Modern Whig (socially progressive, fiscally conservative). I acknowledge that some type of stimulus needs to be injected to help these Rust Belt people that both parties have left behind.

Funny given Obama & the democrats literally did this to great success, until the beneficiaries took revenge on them for it.

Don't forget actually free higher education; Community College, Technical/Vocational Schools, etc.

I don't know about free, but it can certainly be cheaper.
The internet has shattered million dollar institutions and their professors. They just don't know it yet. Time will wash them away.

The books & videos have been available to autodidacts for a long times. Technology doesn't change human nature.
