I haven't got time to watch that right now but people with early alzheimers can be completely lucid at times. Particularly if they are feeling comfortable and talking about things they are interested in.
We occasionally have junior doctors swearing blind that a patient we have seen running around the ward naked at night shouting at invisible people is totally with it just because they didn't spend too long with the patients. t

Think about what this argument is implying, that a functionally tarded guy beats all adversaries skilled in their craft into the highest office in the land. So Trump is basically Forrest Gump except he outplays everyone at calculated prowess; even as a movie script would be too unbelievable to greenlight.

Rather impressive, actually, that he can shift to the preferred speech patters of his base and then back again to his peer. He has done this consistently and masterfully over many years.

President Obama was also a master of this. Downshifting his speech patterns when speaking to his base and then back again to his peers (regardless of race).

Underestimate either of these men at your own peril.

As an aside, I have never met an Harvard educated man that speaks like a "moron", that includes President Obama.

You are indeed confused. Let me clarify and paraphrase.

President Obama is rather impressive because he has the innate ability to shift speech patterns between his base and his peers. That is difficult to do.

President Trump is rather impressive because he has the innate ability to shift speech patterns between his base and his peers. That is difficult to do.

They are both similar in this regard.

Due the skill of both of these men, one should not underestimate either.

The point here was Trump talks to followers like they're dumb, which doesn't necessarily imply he's dumb.

My opinion stands.

I also do not agree with your opinion that Trump talks to his base as if they are dumb. This would dovetail directly into my statement of underestimating your opponent.
