Trump voter focus group on Jan 6

Fox and these people that enjoy being ignorant and evil.
Its mass social engineering with the distinct purpose of subjugating western democracy and civilization. Its not conservatism, its not republicanism, its a direct assault on society.
Rupert Murdoch and his spawn are direct spiritual descendants of Joseph Goebbels and Jim Jones.
Fox has to go.

I would love to do some psychological experiments on people like that. Experiment one would consist of planting a fake among them and somewhere in the interview tell the fake he or she is obviously lying and shoot them with blanks. After they fall dead on the floor and warning the rest not to move continue with the questioning and see who if any change their tune. I would love to see just how long they would keep up the front while being flogged after every lie.

These and others would, of course, be conducted purely for scientific reasons.

I wouldn't get too worked up about this. Obviously there are people that believe crazy stuff. You can also fill those seats with people that think the earth is flat or that Bigfoot is real. MSNBC is trying to sell a point and found people to fill the roll. The more disturbing part is how many in Congress hold these views and how far along the spectrum you would need to move left before it fell off.

What's disturbing is these people represent the majority of the Republican party so it's indeed a bit of a concern

Yea, this isn’t the “crazy stuff”, it’s the regular gaslit voting block for GOP

Rewriting history to fit their world view of things is a feature of the Repub party faithful. I wish the moderator would have asked them questions about the Civil War and the school shootings that happened in the USA. When they deconstruct the truth and the facts that they are in denial of in order to fell good, to feel safer and more secure in their contrived beliefs what they are actually doing is existentially threatening the principles of democracy that our nation is built upon.

That folks like this exist is a testament to the conditioning they've been put through by their political cadre and those folks who have spent untold millions of $$$ toward messing with these people's heads in order to corrupt the gov't into their control. This is what happens when there are a few very wealthy folks who use their wealth to lead the nation without having to be voted into office. I mean, just look at what they've done to the highest court in our nation and what they've managed to do in the states they've corrupted into their control. Autocracy here we come, or have we already arrived?

edit - When millions of folks have to lie to themselves and to live in a world of lies to justify their unfounded beliefs, it's all the proof we need to know that they need to be kept from being in control of the lives of the other folks who see things for what they factually are. Our very existence as a democracy depends on it.

Doesn't the election of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Trump tell you there are a lot of these people? Not hard to find.
