This guy has no idea what's going on in his administration. Just totally out to lunch.
Impressive that MAGA saw Biden's decline and thought "hold my beer!"
But they sure as shit did it. Trump cannot be asked questions as he has no clue or comprehension about anything.

I think you'd find Thomas and Alito as the 2 votes declaring trump supreme leader.

I think he was saying all 6 conservative justices would vote to make him king. So which liberal would make it 7-2.

Not sure if he missed the point or it was a satirical observation of the conservatives on the court.
I misread what @SMOGZINN said. I thought he said they would vote for it 7-2. My bad.

In an enraging and somewhat funny development Politico was lauding his stamina for always talking to the press.

Apparently having any idea what the government is doing is less important than incoherently babbling to people on a daily basis.

The President, in a commanding display of stamina, did not load his diaper for the 10 minutes he talked to us today and only appeared confused for 6 of the 7 questions put to him. Like him or not one must admire such tenacity.

It's a pisser. I turn off audio on my laptop and wait for the SKIP to appear at bottom right corner and click that while simultaneously turning audio back on (a button push). Sometimes the ads play with audio disabled and I don't have to press the Audio button. Yeah, until some months ago my adblocker was effective in nixing ads on YT completely but not these days. There may be an effective ad blocker app out there. I'm running AdBlockPlus on Chrome (intend to move back to Firefox one of these days).
uBlock Origin does a good job with Youtube ads.

Yeah, sorry. I did a pretty bad job at that. My point was that this Court is incapable of making a unanimous ruling, some will vote with the administration no matter how stupid the argument.

There was just a 9-0 that went against Donnie Two Scoops not too long ago.

Not that it mattered. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is still somewhere in a concentration camp.

TBH I don't think either would. They know they'd be very widely vilified as long as they lived and after. And they'd never hear the end of it. Any way we'll never find out because that case will never materialize.

Thanks but I don't think you owe me an appology. I should be appologizing to you, as I haven't had much sleep today (I am a day sleeper), so my reading/comprehension skills are lacking.

Uh, I go to their page and the button to Get uBlock Origin is greyed-out. On the page it reads:

This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.

Guess I'll have to reenable AdBlockPlus... :(

There is UBlock Origin Lite which is the newer supported version. Works quite well.

Sure does. I’ve been using FF for as long as I can remember at this point. I stay away from Chrome like the plague.
Confession: The reason I haven't done it is I have a ton of windows open in chrome and zillions of tabs. I could just shut the whole thing down and start anew. Or, back up chrome and import to a fresh install of Firefox. That, if it won't close windows/tabs leaves me with a lot of overhead.

I try to close tabs I don't need sometimes but dammit, it takes like 15 seconds, maybe more to close a tab and move to the next one. It's tedious and boring. So, I stop and have barely scratched the surface.

Much as I hate to interrupt your scintillating browser discussion, a federal district judge said she will order the Trump administration not to make any changes to Harvard’s student visa program indefinitely.

How fast will they appeal this to the SC? My guess is by tomorrow. Keeping them busy on all fronts. Aren’t they supposed to be issuing a ton of rulings soon before adjourning for several months?

Assuming normal procedures, they'd have to go through the circuit's appeals court first. But, "rules, schmules".

If Biden were president SCOTUS would have this take years to resolve, yes. I guess their leisurely schedule under Biden has given them the energy they need to immediately respond to all of Trump’s requests.
Trump can’t take full advantage of his immunity if courts slow down his criming.

I remember when a Republican judge seized control of immigration policy and SCOTUS just let that stand for like a year and a half.

They did eventually rule that he couldn’t do that because duh, but they very clearly did it because they liked the policy outcome.

You actually think those extremists care?

Yes, they care about themselves and they'd sense that they'd be laughed at, ridiculed, shunned and bad things would be said and written about them all the way to their death day and beyond. As long as they don't fear for their lives they won't vote to make the pesky buffoon the indefinite ruler of the nation.

You'd think by now, that they probably require 24/7 security that they might moderate. Nice dream.
