Ohh, and just to be sure we're clear. The money came after 2010.

Hey, speaking of the money coming... and to put this thread back on track (I can see why you want to derail it, since you're a Trump fanatic)...

It appears that Trump University was under investigation by Greg Abbott. He dropped the investigation, and then received a $35,000 donation for his campaign. Gee, that doesn't look suspicious does it? Looks like he was bribed by Trump to drop the Trump University investigation.

If you ask me, THIS is deserving of a federal probe.

Let's start by balancing the budget, and not giving the Government unlimited resources to fuck us up.

Holy shit! Trump and several politicians are crooks!

Besides the probe that led to Schneiderman's suit, and Abbott's investigation, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi briefly considered joining with Schneiderman in a multi-state suit against Trump University.
Three days after Bondi's spokeswoman was quoted in local media reports as saying the office was reviewing the New York lawsuit, the Donald J. Trump Foundation made a $25,000 contribution to a political fundraising committee supporting Bondi's re-election campaign.
Bondi, a Republican, soon dropped her investigation, citing insufficient grounds to proceed.

"Oh, thanks for the bribe. Hey everyone, we don't have sufficient grounds to proceed." Looks like several officials need to be investigated.

I never derailed it, Jhnn did. He said Hillary was hitting him over TrumpU, I pointed out that she has no grounds to talk. That's not derailing, that's answering somebody else's post.

Trump just released a video defending his "university" on YouTube.

Disabled all comments. Lol, what an insecure bitch.
That means we all need to make parody videos.

Well, in fairness, the Steve Jobs or Bill Gates of ripping people off.
Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are the Steve Jobs and Bill Gates of ripping people off.
- Steve Jobs paid himself $1 per year to avoid taxes. He also kept billions of dollars offshore to avoid paying taxes.
- Bill sold DOS to IBM when he didn't even have the rights to it. He then ran to purchase the rights to QDOS.
- After cashing in on DOS while doing none of the work, he then stole the GUI and overall layout of Mac OS.
- Steve Jobs was such a terrible person that he was fired from his own company.
- Steve also refused to pay dividends to the owners of Apple. This leads to an interesting fact in that you can see when Steve was not at the company because those are the years when Apple paid dividends:

Nope, won't happen. I can't remember the number, but an enormous percentage of the budget is borrowed. It was something crazy like 1/4 or 1/3. Most of that money is for social security and medicare. Those programs will never be cut under any circumstance. Asking the government to balance the budget is basically asking them to cut major social programs that people rely on. Even if you cut the military to $0 per year, the country would still be running a deficit.

It took you how many posts to attempt to answer that one post?

Read the thread title. This thread is about Trump University, not Hilary.
As you've probably noticed, that's the standard response from Trumpettes when you point out something that they can't refute. They try to deflect and then spout some fiction about HRC - sort of like the birther bullshit we had to listen to for 8 years.

This story may have legs. Not only was it dropped in TX but it was also dropped in FL after a donation.

You need to pay a bit more attention, that's SOP for most folks here.

Interesting also, as Trump accused the NY AG of requesting a campaign donation to drop the case. The NY AG did no such thing of course, but you see where Trump got the idea fit the smear.

I didn't make it about Hillary, Jhnn did. I have been replying to his post and the notion that Hillary could, in any way shape or form, attack Trump over this. She can't, because she and her husband are just as, if not even more, guilty of likely an even far greater crime, pay for play.

So you've taken how many posts to respond to one simple comment?

How can I refute it? Either he's guilty or he's not, it is a civil case. I have already admitted it doesn't look good. I think he'll probably walk away a little less rich but who knows.

And now copying and pasting one question is how you're going to answer everything?

You said earlier you were interested in how Trump University's materials encouraged students to commit credit card fraud. What did you think? Presumably even you have to be rethinking your support for someone actively encouraging criminal activity so they can make money.

Not only that but remember how you tried to repeat Trump's line that the judge was biased due to his membership in a Hispanic legal organization? That was bad enough, but now Trump has come straight out and said that any judge is inherently biased against him by virtue of being of Mexican ancestry. How is that rampant racism sitting with you?

At what point does your personal pride get set aside where you can acknowledge that you mistakenly supported an incompetent, racist con man? You have to at least be thinking twice about it by now, no?

I do find the cc part interesting. We will see how it plays out.

I don't like it but I also don't like the sexism and racism in hillbilly's campaign.

But I am one of those white men off the reservation not begging at her feet.
