Yeah, it's only been a few years since the last admin publicly warned SCOTUS to rule a certain way. And certainly FDR was fine with however the court ruled [/sarcasm]. That being said Trump should keep his mouth shut for a while (will never happen, but he should).

No. He was pissed off but never did anything like this. Trump is personally and actively seeking to change the basic protocols of the judicial branch for own selfish reasons. Stop defending the Executive usurpation of powers and means the other branches have. Is Obams was doing it id be for getting rid of him, and unlike now you would not hesitate to join in. But Trump? BUT OBAMA!

Pence's comments are a little more tame than the headline. Trump will not be adressing the Supreme Court. I don't think that any Justice except maybe the Beermeister would cotton to a President entering their turf.

I believe the Supreme Court will support congress against Trump. If they support Trump. well everything he touches dies. If they support his authoritarian rule they become excess baggage.

They probably don't want to humiliate the office of the Presidency no matter who's holding it. Trump is already a national disgrace so there's no point in making it worse.

Thank goodness for John Roberts...well...

...here's hoping John Roberts doesn't want to lie in bed with Trump.
