Is it a coincidence that he’s deployed Federal resources to Los Angeles and DC, both of which are Democratic cities with black women mayors? The Guard will probably do about the same thing they did in LA. Stand around in small groups doing nothing. Military/ex military I’ve spoken with really hate doing what they consider “photo-op / political BS” stuff. Trump wants a firefight between the US military and protesting civilians so he can justify whatever what the next step is in his mind. Crime is down in DC, a 30 year low.

The National Guard is filled with Americans who have actual jobs. They should only be called up in times of absolute emergency. Exploiting the National Guard as rent-a-cops in DC, as secretaries and paper pushers for ICE in Nevada. An abuse of power. Martial Law by any other name.

In this case the 'emergency' is Americans are paying attention to the Mar-a-Lago sex trafficking scandal, skyrocketing costs and weak job numbers.

Trump is pro crime and pro criminal.

Don't forget the post J6 talking point that Trump couldn't deploy the National Guard to DC and it was all Nancy's fault. Guess that was bullshit

"There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people."

Absolutely. For those thinking I just have TDS make note of this...

CDC HQ was shot up with 180 bullets and a cop was killed. Trump said nothing
While demonizing immigrants of color as criminals he for a convicted 3x murder released from Venezuela and brought him into the US
We all know about Jan 6. Claimed he couldn't call up the guard but is doing so now. I thought that was the speakers job?

Enter Pete Hegseth with his new “Quick Reaction Forces”. Alarm bells need to be ringing, because we already have J6ers joining DOJ. What happens when Defense starts recruiting J6ers to replace folks dropping out of low morale National Guard units?

Sure, they aren’t calling it a domestic enforcement militia, but that’s exactly what Hegseth wants. “Quick Reaction Force” is as naked as it gets—do a little reading up on Janjaweed and Rapid Support Forces and you’ll see how this can go wrong very quickly.

Literally an SS, but needs tons of drones to be as strong as the regular army.

Yeah, they're not giving up power.

So this is yet another case of Trump declaring an 'emergency' in order to employ special Presidential powers? Trump's second term appears to be one never-ending emergency.

He also seized control of the DC municipal police department, invoking an obscure section of the 1973 D.C. Home Rule Act which allows the president to take control of local law enforcement in the district for a period of one month in times of emergency.

Is there a clear displeasure by the military with their commander in chief? Just look at the ICE agents that are enjoy being bullies

If you think this is anything but drills you delusional.
Trumps biggest domestic threat at this point is 26 28 elections, so this is the real operative target.

Drill baby drill.

Fourth reich rising.

Damn, I wonder what Trump would do if his favorite Mickey D's gets ransacked and looted by radical leftist rapists and pet eating undocumented brown folks.

What really pisses me off is how Trump thinks it's no big deal to put the lives of Guardsmen in danger. I'm sure he's looking at them as just suckers and losers that he really hopes at least a few of them will be "attacked by armed leftist terrorists deploying chemical weapons" that turn out to be miscreant teenagers assaulting our NG troops with nerf guns and water balloons.
