Guess Canada & Mexico aren't bending to all his demands? Sure is going to be quite a show any way it goes.

Experts of trade law say cancelling NAFTA would be complicated: it would prompt a legal showdown between the White House and Congress.

The latter once passed a law implementing NAFTA and could argue it is still on the books, meaning the agreement remains in effect.

And Trump threatening both Mexico and Canada via tweets.

We are in the NAFTA (worst trade deal ever made) renegotiation process with Mexico & Canada. Both being very difficult, may have to terminate?

NAFTA is evil. It allows fat american trump supporters in the midwest to sell their products and especially agricultural products without tariffs. It promotes otherwise unsupportable lifestyles amongst these people including purchasing numerous 4-wheel drive and Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.

NAFTA does almost nothing for california and new york liberals who do all the real work and make all the real products for this country. It may actually hurt them, because it allows other industries to compete for investors on an un-level playing field. Apple doesn't get to sell its products without tariffs and neither should some fat stupid trump supporter.

Trade agreements are a complex matter. Until I had confidence in a solution, it was easy to jump on the bandwagon and scapegoat NAFTA for our troubles. But maybe there's more to it than that. I'd need a list of pros and cons to weight it on. I will not assume that it is inherently bad.

Trump singing lullabies to his minions about showering them with jobs and then riling them up with fight songs like "Trump the Hero who Defeated NAFTA, the Dreaded Two Headed Dragon" is 100% pure unadulterated pachyderm shit fed jackalope meat.

That his base of drones eat that shit like its the only thing left on this earth to munch on is fine with me because they're cannibalizing themselves while they're at it.

Instead of being ever more inclusive and unifying as I would think a primary function of any POTUS would be, all Trump has done is to refine and purify his base support from flexing his mindless stubborness and arrogance over his months on the job and it's fairly frightening to see who's left in his corner backing him up.

But it seems that every mouth fart he launches and every wave of his tiny circled index finger and thumb is exclusively aimed at keeping his base well fed and riled up beyond reason. His base is the only weapon he has left to swing at his enemies for his empty threats and lies simply can't keep his fellow Repubs in the House and Senate afraid of him any longer. Trump is played out in this regard.

The guy cornered himself and now he's picking on his base's favorite people to hate on in order to hang on to his job.

This is basically all he is doing. Out of his three top priorities, self preservation is job #1, #2 and #3.
