This is a decent compendium of his deals. Personally, I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to learn that there are Russians involved. The Donald has a rather distinctive personal style, which totally endears him to those with whom he does business:

Trump lost almost everything. On the verge of personal bankruptcy, he eventually sold the Plaza, his yacht, and the Trump Shuttle. The banks, led by his main lender, Citicorp, put him on an allowance, which, in 1992, was $300,000 a month, down from the $800,000 that he had been spending. Debt re-structurings are not unusual, but the bankers involved felt a special bitterness toward Trump. A rival once said of Trump that he “won’t do a deal unless there’s something extra—a kind of moral larceny—in it,” which left people feeling battered. One of Citi’s executives, Robert McCormack, who died in 2003, used to regale other bankers with the story, one recalls, of how he made Trump come into the bank to get his monthly allowance and then kept him waiting to get his payment approved.

You've really got to love a guy who does this, below:

In one of the stranger stories unearthed by Farenthold, Trump was “principal for the day” at a school in a destitute Bronx neighborhood, where the chess team was trying to raise money for travel to a tournament. They were $5,000 short. Trump had come prepared—with a fake $1 million bill that he presented to the team. Later, as he got into the backseat of his limousine, he gave the coach the actual donation: $200 in cash.

^^^ There he is, Donald Trump, in a nutshell. People who support him while nevertheless knowing all this must really, really love the smell of feces in the morning. Smells like alt-right victory!

I am astounded people are just now waking up to the fact "The Donald" is and always was a despicable human being. I can only surmise people dismiss his history due to its East Coast origin.

There's certainly those that think he's a wonderful, kind, generous individual. Then there's the bulk who voted for him that didn't care if he went to church or donated to charity, they wanted someone to destroy Washington. Whether they got it remains to be seen.

Ryan and McConnell are having to live with Trump's "eccentricity", albeit they both are developing severe cases of flattened foreheads and chronic cockeye from reflexively slapping their frontal lobes every time Trump launches an embarrassing devastating tweet bomb and every time Trump blatantly lies about some trivial things that he feels requires his personal attention.

But what's really entertaining is observing Trump's Troops cheering him on with every idiotic thing that comes out of his mouth.

In effect, the Deluded in Chief is deluding his deluded followers into a much more deeper state of delusion.

Trump the Snake Oil Salesman sweet talked his way into the White House by making false promises and issuing rapid fire lies and false accusations to the folks who wanted to hear those words and believe those words no matter how far from reality they were.

And look at where we are now. Too bad history has a habit of repeating itself as it has in this case where we've already had a chance to learn a lesson from the Bush/Cheney debacle but decided to completely ignore it in favor of believing in a guy who honed his skills as a pathological liar in lieu of lacking any moral, ethical or sharp business sense.

In essence he's an entitled bully that's used to getting his way and has the practiced ability to skillfully lie his way into accomplishing just that.
