I was reading an article a few days ago that they were cheating on the nuclear deal prior to us putting sanctions and getting out of the deal?
I read a story in 2010 that said buy gold because the black man in the White House was going to tank the economy. Probably an order of magnitude more credible than the shit you read.

You missed the part where all our intel chiefs said Iran was complying.

Reading conservative gossip posing as real news, again??
I saw Washington Times in your list of links, that I did not read, but that's all I need to know that it's pure BS.

So basically we pulled out of the nuclear deal and reimposed sanctions. In response, Iran has stopped complying with parts of the deal. Now, the US has abandoned all the preconditions Trump placed on talks and will meet with them unconditionally.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/02/world/middleeast/us-iran-mike-pompeo.html

So basically we tear up a functioning agreement, threatened Iran a bunch, and then surrendered when they didn't give in and got nothing for all our trouble other than a further destabilized region and an Iran that feels much more free to pursue nuclear weapons. Our country is run by morons.

Glad you are realizing the situation. Now if we can get you to not want to grant those morons ever growing power + wealth. I will turn you some day :D

We can't invade them. It would be a blood bath and a monumental mistake that would turn what's left of the populace -- many of whom are western leaning -- committed and murderously against us for a century or more.

As for "granting" them wealth -- the howling stupidity, ignorance and arrogance of that statement aside -- the days of American uber economic supremacy have long since passed. Try to keep up, will 'ya please? We can only harm them incrementally in the short run, which is what we are doing. But that only accelerates the other countries of the world finding a way to permanently circumvent the dollar as the world currency.

Cliffs: You are STUPID.

That is indeed the bigger picture.
Chances of Trump getting the bigger picture : 0%
Chances of Putin getting the bigger picture : 99.9%

I figured Trump just wanted to undo a Obama deal and put a Trump deal in place. Similar to what they tried with healthcare.

And what is it that they've tried with healthcare? Otherthan trying to destroy it.

There's far more to it with Iran than just that. Trump is vigorously taking the side of his butt buddy authoritarians in Saudi Arabia in the greater Sunni-Shia divide, as well as pandering to the right wing Israeli settler contingent that American fundies who make up so much of his base have taken such a shine to.

I agree that’s what he wanted to do, he was just too ignorant and incompetent to do it.

The problem is that Trump is totally unwilling to admit his own incompetence so he keeps getting himself into situations that are beyond his abilities and we are paying the price for it.

I've always said if you want to know where 80% of Trump policies are going just ask yourself 2 questions...

Did Obama enact it?
What would a 5 year old do?

President Deals is not very good at making them. Certainly way worse than his predecessors.
Saw a poll today (will have to find it again) that 40 some percent of potential voters think Trump is a good deal maker.

Even if we pretend this Iran reset(tm) is part of an actual plan, let’s think about the next logical step. The original Iranian nuclear deal was negotiated with the help of the best nuclear scientists with a plethora of inspections and details. Who do you think will be putting the details together for this next disarmament? A rick Perry like character who knows nothing about “the nuclear”?

What a fucking disaster and fuck you dumb ass hypocrites for excusing it or ignoring it.

General election, we must call Trump out on his failures. This is a big one.
Too late bro. We had to blow 4 zero-days just to force their hand into the first deal. Trump pissed it away and Iran knows what to look for next time. We will never get this one back. Well, never say never. Maybe Iran will reenter the deal voluntarily out of the goodness of their hearts once we get Trump the fuck out of the WH. Insert excessive hahas here.
