None of the people from "deplorable" territory have done anything like this. It seems that some people living in the cities are lashing out all of a sudden.

I noticed that and it makes sense. Big cities and especially certain big cities are where most people of different creeds live together. I would guess that in some very rural areas there aren't exactly many Muslims living there to harass. If any. In addition. Trump still won enough votes in those very populated blue areas to have a reasonable amount of supporters to draw from. In NYC at least the main events were at NYU, where there are students from all over the country attending. I didn't peruse through the specific events in the other cities to see if they were on college campuses. A decent amount were from high school level and below. Which is sad.

One thing that stands out about these incidents is that I don't hear any of the witnesses describing what they actually did about the incident. If I hear a postal worker being racist at a gas station, I'd be in is fat ugly face immediately. I wouldn't just post a passive aggressive tweet about how appalled I am.

Furthermore, there are cameras at gas stations, in buses, in college buildings, in many of the places these incidents "happened". Many of them happened in crowded areas and I hear no evidence that anyone intervened or recorded or even spoke up. Where are the police reports? Why isn't film being subpoenaed from security cameras? Why is there no cell phone video of these incidents?

I'm really starting to think these reports are fake. If there are so many terrible racist things happening on day 1 of Trump America then why is there a need to fabricate more?

i really don't think victims are ready to immediately whip out their phones and start recording. it's a traumatic experience and in that quick moment a record button isn't pressed.

in multiple of these instances police reports are filed and/or someone like a teacher has reported them. in the others can't say one way or the other. a gas station security camcorder isn't going to catch someone taunting another anyways. there is no audio. a lot of these cases are verbal only. which is bad enough.
