Biden better address the U.S. asap and speak like he did when he crushed VP candidate Paul Ryan in the VP debate in 2012 or there won't be that much kindness in the speculation about his dropping out.

This is the possibly worst thing that could have happened in terms of any sort of stability in the campaign in the next few months.

Then again perhaps this will take some of the pressure of Biden's team... unless there are rwnj conspiracies thrown around (which considering the past few years) is a distinct possibility or even likelihood.

This is just the beginning. The right has repeatedly dog whistled violence and ignored gun massacres. Trump will be President (and King) in my opinion at this point because we Americans deserve him with our collective stupidity and willful ignorance. I won’t be surprised if he is assassinated sometime during his time as King. Then the true evil behind him will enact the end of Democracy in reality and all the ignorant red state dumbasses will stare blankly and say, “whaaaa happnd?”

Yes, you can see the folks at the top right of the risers behind Trump looking off to what is presumably the adjacent rooftop where the shooter was already neutralized.
 
As much as I wish Trump was dead I'm glad he's alive because he's about the only candidate Biden could be, and luckily for Trump Biden is about the only candidate he can beat.

It's just so very fucking sad

Yes that is a better strategy in the short term but he will be expected to at least hold a press conference with some Q&A session in the near future I think...

I wondered the same thing. What a way to really give Trump a boost in his ratings. "See, they tried to kill me and I survived to become your KING!"
