When a "Kenyan Muslim Marxist God Damn America black man" can win twice decisively, both popular and electoral vote, against much better candidates than Trump in a white majority America, the Rust belt was never the problem, put the blame where it belongs, the many millions of Democrat voters that couldn't bother to go vote.

Yep, they couldn't be bothered to vote. I said it months ago, that if she lost, it would be because of lack of voter turnout. Many people got comfortable with the notion of her being a shoe in. I heard many people I know say her presidency was "automatic", or "we've got this". To be fair, there was voter apathy on both sides. This is what happens when we have two unpopular candidates running. Nobody was excited.

No conflicts of interest is this administration. Wonder how transparent the Trump administration will be?

Probably just as transparent as the "most transparent administration ever" we've endured for the past 8 years. In other words, not transparent at all.

Hey, you have to try and come up with any anti-Trump articles one way or another, the lefties need their fix! :D

To be fair, OP posted from CBS News and not some conspiracy theory site like Breitbart, Infowars, Truthfeed, etc. If he had made up the story or misinterpreted it then the criticism here is legitimate.

I still love this part:
Three of the president-elect's children — Donald, Eric and Ivanka — as well as his son-in-law Jared Kushner, were named to Trump's "Presidential Transition Team Executive Committee," which includes high-profile advisers, donors and congressional lawmakers.

Yet somehow, those same people are running his business(es) without ANY sort of conflict at all.
It's ridiculous.

CBS is just like the other mainstream media. Better go verify before you accept anything that comes from them as fact, they can't be trusted.

This is one criticism that I completely agree with. If he's going to have his kids run the business, then they can't be involved with the presidency. It's one or the other, or there's an obvious conflict IMO.

Thank you for that. You're about the 1st Trump support that has the balls to comment on it, let alone criticize it.
See, we can all agree on something!

for sure, that's my biggest worry.

if he wants his kids to be his advisers in the White House, I'll roll my eyes but accept it... but if his kids have a front-row seat and access to top secret information while also running a for-profit business empire that has numerous foreign investors and international assets, that's a bridge too far.

Save your ire for when he actually becomes the President. If they're on the transition team (this is an important term to comprehend) along with many other people, fine. Once he's sitting in the oval office I agree with you and I think we'll all find that the kids won't be involved in running the government. I would certainly think that Trump won't be forwarding classified emails to his kids or even his housekeeper like you know who.

The only time I can recall this much concern for a new President coming in is back in 2008. Oh, wait...;)

No. It matters during the transition as well. That's ridiculous not to think so.

The best part is the double standard from Trumpists. They screamed bloody murder conspiracy over the Clinton Foundation, a top rated charity, but defend this entirely.

It's some form of mass hypnosis.

fun fact: Rudy Giuliani, the front-runner as Secretary of State right now, also has a for-profit business that relies on foreign governments as their clients (including Middle Eastern countries like Qatar)

feels like only yesterday that Clinton was charged as being complicit with gays being beheaded because her charity accepted donations from countries in the ME, much less actually making a profit off them.

Even if he doesn't have is kids getting national security clearance, does anyone think that Trump won't talk about national security issue's with his kids anyway?. He's in over his head. He needs all the help he can get. He's already probably consulting them on a multitude of decisions. Might as well vet them. Aren't two or three of them registered Democrats?

That'd be akin to sending classified emails to people without clearance, right?

Well, dash off an email to somebody important. I'm sure you can turn this around to your liking. Some sincere tweeting and facebooking will probably help too.

It's become apparent that a lot of this concern is rooted in Trump being one of those evil businessmen that the left and to a much greater degree the progressives despise.

Whatever.
