You mean Bobby as AG? He was eminently qualified, broke teamster & mafia balls, championed civil rights.

Trump's kids just get access w/o responsibility.

Ahem. Apparently you didn't hear about Ivanka's new and exciting clothing line.

umm their responsibilities are to run the businesses like they are in a blind trust. except that's impossible. and would be more impossible if they had security access to boot.

Well Hillary Clinton had her MAID printing out top secret documents. At least President-elect Trump is getting clearance for the people that might be privy to classified information. You guys found it perfectly OK what Hillary did and now seem to be angry that Trump is taking precautions.

I guess people were not paying attention to the debates. Trump specifically said his son Baron is a whiz at "the cyber." Baron should be perfectly qualified to receive security clearance as head of Homeland Security. Just don't bother him before his mid-morning nap.

When you make arguments like this, the only question is whether the other conservatives here are dumb enough to find them convincing. See, I don't think they are.

So his kids getting TS clearance and running his business isn't a huuuuuge conflict of interest??

Also I had a major problem with Hillary's email server and stated such. But why lets facts get in the way of you foaming at the mouth.

Oh, so now the presidency is a family affair? Smooth. Dinner should have some interesting discussions.

I thought Hillary was supposed to be going to be prison for that? Or are we pardoning Hillary to pardon Trump?

But but but Clinton.

Why can't you focus on the issue at hand?

The scary part is not that they are getting security clearance, but that they are his advisers on national security. It's insane.

Can't some of those many Generals that endorsed Trump do the job or are they afraid to actually work for Trump in National Security?

I just petitioned the state to let me change my last name to Trump. Once that is completed I will also apply for national security clearance. Should be a breeze.

My posts in AT P&N will become the most cryptic. After what will you know what I really know?

lol who gives a fuck about some damn emails anymore, it's over now man.

Trump should just let Ivanka be the president. Imagine her given a lil basic instinct action to putin (or me), the ole' switch-a-roo. Is that a position, going around just softening people up?

That's what voting out of spite, instead of based on temperament and policy, gets you. I have far less empathy for the Rust Belt now than I did pre-election. At some point, you get the government you deserve, and the Rust Belt deserves this one. Of course, this news story isn't the reason most feel this way, it's just one of a hundred examples.
When a "Kenyan Muslim Marxist God Damn America black man" can win twice decisively, both popular and electoral vote, against much better candidates than Trump in a white majority America, the Rust belt was never the problem, put the blame where it belongs, the many millions of Democrat voters that couldn't bother to go vote.
