Trump running out of (gasp) money?!

Well, when you have Google, Apple, Microsoft, the media up to and including ESPN, what do you expect? The 21st century in this country is full of progressive sheep and crabs. That is the power the likes of which Nazi Germany had at one point. i.e Socialism.

Wow, you out-stupid palin, bachmann and others with crap like this.

Johnny, didn't any adult ever tell you that just because something is posted on the internet as fact doesn't necessarily mean it is true? Please don't be so naive and trusting.
Whatever the real number is, he's rich. Did you have a link from the internet telling us the real figure?

It's a campaign year conspiracy theory that Trump is actually a poor man pretending to be a rich man.

I don't know of anyone who thinks he is poor, just that he is not nearly as rich as he claims to be. His behavior seems to indicate that this is correct.

Honestly, I would be surprised if the Don had 80 million cash to spend.

Recall that he has been taking loans from himself and paying himself back through donations.

Does that strike you as the behavior of someone with cash to spend...or is it just something that you'd rather not think about with any sort of critical thought?

Critical thought? CRITICAL THOUGHT?

How much shit does he have property wise? From California to Scotland. Now add in a 757 and a Helo's fuel, maintenance and other assorted costs. Holy critical thought!

I go back to my first question:

Do you understand the difference between liquid assets and perceived value?

Yes, Jon--Critical thought would be useful in your case. Difficult, maybe, but these questions still require a few hz of output.

Actually, he's been accused of this long before the faint odor of a presidential campaign whisped through his addled cranium.

Forbes has been on his ass about his actual wealth for more than a decade now.

I know America is doomed when people are laughing at the candidate who takes fewer bribes.

I'll repeat something I read in a book about accounting. As the legend goes, someone asked the CEO of Union Pacific if they ever bothered to check for oil under their rail lines. The CEO responds by asking "Are you crazy? If we find oil, we'll need to pay tax on it. It's better not to know."

Trump isn't exactly a young buck anymore. I'm guessing a lot of his assets are held in such a way as to understate their true value. Companies like Sears do this all the time. They'll buy a plot of land in 1960 for $10,000, and it stays on their balance sheet as a $10,000 asset. If they bothered to estimate what it's actually worth, it might show up as a huge paper gain on their taxes.

Tell Trump to post his tax returns-like he promised, then reneged. That won't be a perfect indicator but it will go a long way towards establishing what is truth and what is BS and bragging. But I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for Trump to fulfill his promise.

That said, I'm not so sure exactly what effect the lack of Trump's cash will have on his chances. Without a doubt he has gotten very far (to date) with great political success by breaking nearly every basic campaign "rule." Perhaps he has some master game plan I'm not aware of. But as far as I see, right now the major issue of the race is Trump and that is an issue he will never win. He's blowing it when he should be making Hillary the major issue (and no, not the old tired four dead in Bengazi or her so-called email scandal, those are penny ante to all but the rabid Faux News faithful).

no one doubts that he is rich, dumpleshilzskin.

No one has ever trusted Trump's projected wealth, however, because even he can't provide a straight answer.

The only evidence that you will find of his "true claims" is a court deposition where he claims "anywhere between 4 and 10 billion...and that depends on my mood."

Yes, Trump places the value of his monetary wealth on his mood within that particular week. This is in front of a court.

But you will ask for more internet evidence that claims otherwise. Of course that doesn't exist. It can't exist. But you are a dishonest troglodyte with the brainpan of a carnie, completely incapable of honest discourse.

People have been laughing at Trump for a long time. In fact, this is the only reason he is running now.

He got all butthurt because he can't take a joke; now everyone can laugh at him.

lol, pretty sure most people would say that Google, Apple, Microsoft, etc are leaders, the exact opposite of what you say.

and a Nazi reference to boot, coming from a Trump supporter, ah lawdy.

Hey don't forget Johnny is a leader with only the best sword held high, the biggest sword. Its probably almost as big as Trump's sword pay no attention to the tiny raccoon hands.

well conner fessed up to being some 300+lb monster, so he may have some ham hock hands, so even a claymore might looks small wedged into that wad of dough he calls a fist. Whereas a cocktail spear would look massive in drumpf teeny-tiny hand

That's hilarious. Anyone who does accounting knows exactly what he means. 😀

It's interesting to watch non-business people try to understand how business works. They point to all of his failed business ventures while ignoring the successful ones. That would be like saying Coca Cola is a failure of a company because New Coke was a flop. It was an epic flop, but the company moved on. They also made things like Cherry Coke. Companies have a lot more misses than hits. Something like Coca Cola Classic happens once in a lifetime, but New Coke happens all the time. Trump Airlines happens all the time.

The net worth of a person or company really does depend on the mood of the management. People have written entire books about this topic:
book: Quality of Earnings

If asked by the IRS, Trump would say he's desperately poor. If asked by a lender, Trump would say he has billions of unencumbered assets. Using a more conservative estimate of net worth, the lesser of cost or market value, Trump's net worth might be less than 1 million. He acquired a lot of his real estate 50 years ago, so the cost could be anything.
Lower of Cost or Market (LCM) accounting

They're leaders making money from slave labor in China.

You're a well put together educated, successful person, aren't you? From the sounds of it you sound like a contrived little shit weasel who can't raise a valuable opinion and instead chooses to use his lady fingers to input bitterness and scorn and hits the post button.

You'll go far coke head. You'll go far.

ha~ that's rich conner, never, ever tried/used coke, and yea, I am reasonably successful, but I don't consider monetary wealth as a metric of success, be sure to keep flapping away with those jimmy dean sausages you call fingers.

Headline: Trump running out on money!

Trump: Do we need more money?

Underling: It's not critical but these fools need a story to keep the head nodders stirred up.

Trump: Tell my accountant to cut $75M check, next issue.

Underling: Yes sir. Yet another 'tolerant liberal' has violently....

Aaand that's the end of this news piece....
