No, I said his students had been quoted saying as much. I don't know what Ron has said about it, if anything.

IIRC, someone had spoken to a few of his former students about it after the photo was first released by the media in confirming it was him. They were high school students too, not college. He wasn't too much older than they were, but he was probably at least legal age and they were clearly not, besides the teacher-student conflicts of interest.

Several of his former students made comments about how he was 'always trying to be the "cool teacher" and befriend students to hang out outside of school etc'. Sounded a bit pathetic to me, to be perfectly honest.
