WaPo apparently "adjusted" the headline. This is more egregious than trump's latest, albeit calculated, tantrum.

Nevertheless, trump has been infinitely more accessible than clinton and opens himself to questioning from the right, the left and everywhere in between. Does anyone have the stones to proclaim otherwise?

Yea I am no Trump fan but WaPo did have a very badly written headline saying Trump did something that at best is open to interpretation.

I don't know if I would have gone straight to a ban but Trumps press/spokesman should have had a talk with them and make sure they admitted it and fixed it.

Obama revoked Sarah Rivera Scott press pass to the White House, where were you then?

Maybe because it wasn't political, she went to work for the German radio network "The Interview People." Ever heard of it? Doubt it and maybe thats why.

If Trump didn't mean that Obama was at least potentially connected to these shootings when he said 'he either doesn't get it or he gets it better than anyone understands' then what did he mean? Serious question.

Other people have asked Trump to clarify what he meant by those comments and he has repeatedly refused to say. So basically he's saying 'these people totally twisted the meaning of that comment, but I won't tell you what that comment actually meant.'

He's basically doing the whole 'who, me?' thing. It's like DSF is is press secretary or something, haha.

He definitely would have scored more points that way. It also would have been very satisfying for his 10 year old inner (outer?) child. What's better than having a critic admit they were wrong and retract a statement.

But you see, that's something Trump would never do so the idea never occurred to him. He wanted immediate gratification for the slight and this was the only thing he could do.

That would be nice, if corrections were on the first page saying, 'We F'd up on our political spin'

But since they're not, it doesn't buy one much after the much more prominent article seen by a ton more people (and more important, remembered by them, talked about by them, further spin generated by them, instead of a buried retraction) has gone out.

That's a good point. The retraction wouldn't have made nearly as much news although I suppose Donald himself could have jumped on it and made it an issue. He's pretty good at that. I think he could have scored some points with it.
This thread is about 4 hours older than that one.

Yes he could have but then they'd just spin that as more spin from Trump, which just furthers their agenda.

What! Our little American Prince surrounded by YES MEN and sycophants all his life gets out into the real world and has a melt down with people reporting the truth?
